Based in Bellingham, WA. We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the worlds oceans, waves, and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. We have several projects, events and campaigns, so come get involved!

Coastal DNR scientist Micah Horwith to present his research on ocean acidification and citizen science opportunities at next Surfrider meeting

Learn more about how ocean acidification is impacting us locally, how seagrasses may provide some refuge for shellfish, and how citizen science can help us fill data gaps from a DNR coastal scientist.

Our bi-monthly public chapter meeting is Monday, 7pm, at Aslan Brewing! Make to plans to attend and learn about water quality improvements and monitoring efforts in the Bellingham area. And of course to raise a glass to a successful 2016 for our chapter!
