Marine Debris and Microplastic Presentation

At our October chapter meeting Ken Campbell presents on the Ikkatsu Project and his small-boat journeys on the Washington Coast, Alaska, and Puget Sound, including paddling a boat made from plastic bottles, exploring the ever-growing problem of plastics in our ocean. Hear about Ken’s adventures and what our community can do at Resources Monday, October 23rd, beginning at 7pm.

This will be the Northwest Straits Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation’s montly meeting in collaboration with RE Sources’ North Sound Stewards Program as they gear up for microplastics projects in the near future!
